About GALERI
During the Indian G20 Presidency stakeholders willing to collaborate on alternate economic models and rebalance environmental, economic, and social priorities, came together to form a Global Alliance for Life Economies Research and Innovation (GALERI). GALERI aims to foster engagement, coordination and collaboration research and innovation among a committed global community of governments, think tanks and academia, international organizations, philanthropy, business, civil society and other actors. Based on the High Level Principles on Lifestyle for Sustainable Development, and acknowledging ongoing efforts on sustainability and behavioral change it is imperative that research and evidence base is consolidated and promoted.The GALERI has been supported among others by UNDP; OECD; USAID; GIZ; UNRISD; ADBI; Ministry of Industry, Brazil; ABC, Brazil; NEPAD. GALERI can be an effective vehicle to translate Principles into Action, and promote wellbeing, equity and sustainability through international cooperation and triangular cooperation.
